It's been another long day,
I'm off to dream land,
and my knees to pray..
Today has been just grand.
I shall pray for you,
Blue skies, warm weather,
and food too,
by a stream in the sun.
Sweet, juicy watermelon,
running down your chin,
and laughter on your lips,
surrounded by friends and kin.
Birds over head,
the smell of green grass,
gentle breezes kissing you,
as they quietly pass.
Clouds billowy and fluffy,
As God sculpts in the sky.
God's blessings on you,
as under God's sky you lie.
And if it sprinkles,
Don't dismay,
Tis God's happy tears,
at seeing you at play,
for this I pray...
