~True Christian Friends~
True Christian friends are a blessing that are sent out by the Lord.
They come straight from Heaven (I'm sure that's where they're stored!)
They can touch your life with joy and make all the difference in the world.
They offer comfort and compassion when the storms of life are hurled.
True Christian friends are a blessing that are sent from God above.
They fill your life with wonder and crown it all with love.
They are there with the answers when you haven't got a clue,
And offer guidance and steadfastness when you don't know what to do.
True Christian friends are like poems, composed by the Son of God.
He made each one different, some may seem slightly odd,
But Christ is molding every one of them in His own special way.
Thank our Heavenly Father for each one He sends your way.

~My Scarecrow~
There's an old scarecrow in my backyard,
and he stands there day and night
To me he is very beautiful,
but to others he's a fright.
-Dan Turner, 1969
The scarecrow and little ditty are from Elko County Rose Garden |
Muti, be sure to visit Elko County Rose Garden, lots of information on Roses as well as lots of poems.
~Happy Birthday~
Another year older, a year of living in the light of the Lord
A time of changing, a time of growing
A time of learning to use His Sword
Maturing more as the days go on
Telling others what Christ has taught you
Touching hearts as you travel along
Living love - we can see Him in you
A miracle is working there in your heart
A new beginning, He changed you right from the start
And now you know that there is no turning back
The grace of God you will never lack
You're a picture of what our great Redeemer can do
When you walk in His love, you make an excellent view
You are changing on the inside, it's really plain to see
Like a stranger to this world - living for eternity
Committed to our Saviour, you are resting in His hands
He planned your future long ago, before your life began
Oh, delight yourself forever in the living Lord
Wait on His gracious love and receive His Word
Taste and see how good our God is
He is awe-inspiring and His name is Jesus
He is your refuge when your times get tough
His provision will always be enough
Your steps are directed by the Father of lights
Trust fully in Him, your future is bright
Shine out, my friend, and show them the way
Light up the darkness, hold the shadows at bay
Free the captives, as Christ has freed you
Tell others the wonders of what our God can do
Praise God and live a life pleasing to Him
Lift up your voice and let your heart sing
Seek the Lord's guidance and live in His will
Come before Jesus and learn to be still
Though this life seems so hard and you may fail sometimes
Get on Hind's feet - there are still mountains to climb
When you reach the highest peak, there will be joy without end
God will say, "Well done, My servant and friend."

Here are some poems I learned as a child:
Tom, Tom, the piper's son
Learned to play when he was young,
But the only tune that he could play
Was, "Over the Hills and Far Away."

Hark, hark, the dogs do bark,
Beggars are coming to town;
Some in rags, some in jags,
And some in velvet gowns.

| To answer a couple of your questions... Why Is There Air?
Air is a mix of several gases, all transparent and odorless. Almost 4/5 of the air is made up of nitrogen gas, valuable to plants as well as us. About 1/5 is made up of oxygen which the human body requires to breathe. There are small amounts of other gases such as carbon dioxide which we give off when we breathe and plants use to manufacture food in their in leaves. Air also contains varying amounts of water in the form of vapor or gas.

What do birds sing about?
Usually the male bird sings the most beautiful songs. He sings when he wish to attract a female bird and later while helping her build their nest. He also sings to warn off other males and proclaim his territory. However, most of the time when a bird sings it is usually at ease and in good health.
I'm still working on "Why did God create Fleas?"
